Overview

Cindy shares her knowledge and expertise in the world of ergonomics. She has a great knowledge of our muscles and how they work. She shares the issues we face and they are treated and how to prevent them in the first place. She discusses standing vs sitting when working on a patient and how to put the patient that is comfortable for both the operator and the patient.

After listening to this episode you should be able to discuss the following:

- Is it better to sit or stand when working on a patient

- What is considered a neutral sitting position

- Which work groups are the most at risk for ergonomic issues

- Common ways to treat the disorders
